About Terrachem

    Terrachem Pty Ltd was established in March 2012 with the aim of providing leading quality, value for money and independent specialist mine water and waste environmental services. We aim to ensure that our work contributes to ethical and efficient management of mine water and waste and to provide innovative solutions that benefit both our clients and the environment.

    Terrachem has a highly experienced team, with more than 30 years' combined experience in various aspects of mining, including mine water and waste management, process chemistry and mining geology and geochemistry. We have contributed to numerous projects, from exploration and feasibility stages to post-closure. Our work has included contributions to feasibility studies, due diligence, mine environmental impact studies, monitoring programs, closure management plans, as well as operational managment planning, optimisation and problem solving.

    Our technical skillset includes fieldwork, advanced laboratory expertise (including anaerobic chemistry), computer modelling of geochemistry, groundwater, surface water and various other processes and systems. We are also experienced at project management and reporting.

    Our qualifications include Ph.D. Environmental Engineering, M.Sc. Geochemistry, B.Sc. (Hons) Physical Chemistry, B.Sc. Chemistry & Applied Mathematics, B.Sc. Geochemistry & Geology, B.Eng. (Hons) Mechatronic Engineering and B.Eng. Environmental Engineering.

    We have diverse experience, both locally and internationally. Our experience includes mining of multiple commodities, industrial, power generation and infrastructure. We are based in Perth, Western Australia and have both international and local experience.
